Welcome to my Living Room! The Baby Grand Piano that Mom and Dad purchased back in 1965, is still my go-to for composing before recording on my Digital Piano in the home studio.
It's a Danemann, I had it completely refurbished a few years ago, new strings/pads/hammers the whole 9 yards. The sound and feel of this piano is ideal for me, and I will never part with it!
This is my Home Studio in a bit of a mess at the moment, but you know... work is in progress! I do Voice Over Work which is why you see the Mic boom.
My Mayfair Arrangements Logo...love peonies and ofc Piano composing...

My brother and I started piano lessons reallly early on...in Winnipeg Manitoba, Mrs Arnison was our first Piano Teacher, loved her! My other most influencial Teacher was Miss Ducker/Mrs Humphrey in Victoria BC. Many thanks go out to them for keeping me on this path...
So honored to be a Member of CARAS, Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. The calibre of Canadian Talent is so inspiring, we have got it going on here in Canada!
Case in point, recently took in a fantastic Concert and Fundraiser for Classroom Champions with my longtime Friend Bonnie Elgie (Bonita! from our Radio Days at KISS FM and CKWX) she is now a force in the Canadian PR Scene: https://www.linkedin.com/in/bonnieelgie/
The Classroom Champions organization, is doing profound work to help kids thrive early on, here's their mandate:
"empowers children to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Through the mentorship and mindset of world-class athletes, we improve student engagement, build growth mindsets, and inspire positive classroom culture."

The Concert featured Canadian Icon Barney Bentall and the Cariboo Express, his son Dustin Bentall, also a force! The entire Band was awe inspiring!
As well, a guest appearance from another Canadian Icon, Jim Cuddy, Solo Artist and ofc part of the legendary Canadian Band, Blue Rodeo. The Musicianship all night was just mindblowing! Jim Cuddy's son Sam Polley also part of the crew!
Me and Bonita at Cluny in the Distillery District here in TO prior to the concert...that Cappuccino was sooo good!!
Concentrating...demitasse is tricky!

As of this date of writing, the Los Angeles area is dealing with catastrophic Fires. Many colleagues and friends are affected, and it is heart wrenching to learn of the losses and impact for so many, not only in the Music Community but in all walks of life.
